RELIABILITY
Exchange of a Main Drive Pump is made easier due to a plug-in type actuator control. There is no need to check mechanical adjustments in order to assure proper travel of mechanical linkage. No tedious adjustment of microswitch cams in order to obtain zero and maximum wire speed. No possibility of mechanical gear damage or failure to the actuator. There are no servo motors or electrical terminations at the drive pump subject to corrosive atmospheres. Eliminates complicated PLC interface programs to convert the DCS wire speed signal to 110 VAC pulses.
INSTALLATION
Hard wiring currently used to operate the Jordan actuator is utilized to operate the electronic driver cards. This eliminates the time consuming and costly operation of pulling new wiring. The Main Drive Pump solenoid actuator valves are bolt on assembles which easily mounted directly onto the pumps while in place. Existing Chemi-Washer operational logic is unchanged.
